Vallorcine and Surroundings
Vallorcine is a picturesque mountain village you must have been to. It is located in the heart of the French Alps, at the foot of Mont Blanc. The village is set amid impressive mountain scenery, with numerous hiking and cycling trails winding through the surrounding forests and valleys. It is a paradise for skiers, hikers, mountaineers and mountain bikers.
In winter, there are many skiing options. There is the ski resort La Balme right next to the resort and the ski resort La Poya is also located nearby. Furthermore, Vallorcine also offers cultural and historical sights. The cities of Chamonix and Geneva are also pretty close to Vallorcine. Finally, a visit to Mer de Glace or Aiguille du Midi is definitely recommended.
In short, Vallorcine offers something for everyone and is a great destination for an active or relaxing holiday.
