House rules

House rules
Thank you very much for your stay at our resort. Our staff work hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. However, we cannot do this without your cooperation. Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to the following house rules.

General house rules
Behave in such a way that you do not bother anyone. Enjoy your stay and allow other guests their holiday rest too. All guests must strictly observe the house rules and follow instructions from staff and/or any security services present.

 

Smoking is not allowed in your house or flat. Smoking is only allowed outside on the terrace, provided you consider the comfort of other guests. We ask you to dispose of cigarette butts in ashtrays or the appropriate waste bins.

 

Partial nudity in the corridors is not allowed. Guests are kindly requested to wear appropriate coverings when crossing corridors, especially when going to or from the swimming pool.

Visitors
Visitors are welcome and should report to reception on arrival. They are expected to leave the resort before 21:00. Deviation from this is possible only with the Resort Manager's permission.

 

Should visitors wish to stay overnight, this should be reported at reception. They will be registered as fellow travellers and tourist tax must be paid for this.

 

The reception reserves the right to refuse lodgers. Visitors must comply with the rules set out in these regulations.

Facilities
Football and other ball games are allowed only in designated areas.

 

Use of resort facilities and (play) equipment is at your own risk.

Accommodation and waste
Each accommodation has its own personal furnishings. It is not allowed to take outside furniture that belongs in the holiday accommodation. (Garden) furniture and inventory may not be moved or relocated to other accommodation.

 

Guests are obliged to keep the accommodation and its surroundings in a neat and orderly condition. No rubbish may be left in and around the accommodation. Waste must be sorted and disposed of in the designated waste containers. Rubbish bags (and loose waste) may not be placed at any time for reasons of hygiene and the possible attraction of (un)animals.

 

In your absence, all loose items such as bicycles, toys, etc. should be cleared away around the accommodation, stowed away as much as possible and placed out of sight. Bicycles may not be placed against the accommodation. Placing party tents and the use of drones are not permitted.

Pets
Pets are welcome at the resort, however, some house rules apply.

 

Dogs must be leashed at all times and walked outside the resort. Make sure you always have a bag with you to dispose of any excrement from your dog in the appropriate waste bins.

 

You are not allowed to take your dog into the public areas at the resort, such as the swimming pool, or to leave your dog alone in the accommodation.

 

Please respect the house rules and be considerate of other guests.

Maintenance
We reserve the right to carry out (or have carried out) cleaning work around the accommodation from 08:00.

 

Faults reported to reception will be resolved as soon as possible. Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Mont Blanc always has the right to enter the rented accommodation for inspection and/or to carry out maintenance work (or have it carried out).

 

Whenever possible, staff will give timely notice of such a visit. In urgent cases, Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Mont Blanc may refrain from making an announcement

(Night) rest and nuisance
Guests at the resort should behave properly in general and observe a silence on the entire property between 23:00 and 07:00. We expect our guests to strictly observe this nightly silence. This includes no music or any other noise.

 

Also during the day, it is not allowed to use music carriers, musical instruments and other objects that (may) cause noise pollution in such a way as to cause nuisance.

 

With the receipt of a complaint from a fellow guest, the nuisance is established and charges may be levied.

Parking

Park your car only in the parking spaces belonging to your own property. Only these cars have access to the resort. Other cars and cars belonging to the flats must be parked in the general car park at the entrance to the resort.

 

Cars are not allowed to park on the street or on the grass. In case of an emergency, emergency services must be able to reach all accommodation at the resort quickly and freely.

 

Parking on and around the resort is at your own risk. Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Mont Blanc is not liable for any damage, loss or theft of your property.

Safety

You may only use grills and/or barbecues on the terrace of your house or flat, not inside or on the (garden) table. We do ask you to consider the comfort of other guests and minimise any nuisance caused by smoke or unwanted smells.

 

Only the pressed logs you can buy at the mini market may be used in the fireplace. Self-brought electricity and/or water installations must comply with legal requirements. If a fire breaks out for any reason, you should raise the alarm immediately so that the fire can be extinguished as quickly as possible. And, of course, remember the safety of yourself and others when handling (open) fire.

 

Personal belongings such as skis, ski boots or other items must not be left in the corridors. This is strictly forbidden as it poses a safety risk in case of fire.

 

We ask you to check that all (back) doors and windows are locked when you leave your home and turn off the lights.

 

In case you need to contact emergency services such as an ambulance or the fire brigade, you should also report to reception to explain the situation to the receptionist so that they can escort emergency workers to the flat where urgent assistance is needed.
If no one is present at reception, you should immediately call the relevant emergency number to explain the situation.

Deposits
Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Mont Blanc is entitled to deduct costs from the paid deposit. Complaints from third parties and/or security regarding your behaviour/noise nuisance/destruction may lead to removal from the resort with deduction of the deposit. You are not entitled to a refund. Damage caused by you or one of your fellow guests to property of Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Mont Blanc will always be recovered directly from the perpetrator or you.

 

Additional efforts by our staff (including security) as a result of your behaviour will be translated into costs and may be deducted from your deposit. Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Mont Blanc reserves the right, regardless of who in your party is the culprit, to deduct any costs due to damage, extra work or destruction from your deposit.
